Smile Makeover with Veneers

A brilliant or a vibrant smile is the first statement you can make to people you meet. It just boosts your confidence.  Some of us are blessed with beautifully shaped and aligned teeth naturally.  However, over time, with age coupled with improper maintenance and oral hygiene, the once vibrant smile becomes a pale shadow of the original.  Many times over age  teeth become darker, develop gaps, get chipped, attrited and worn out which can have a negative impact on the personality of the individual. Who would not want to brighten up a room with his or smile?

In our dental practice we regularly see patients who want to get their beaming smile back. One such patient visited us recently with gaps and discoloration in her upper and lower front teeth. On evaluation and a detailed discussion with the patient, we advised her to have a smile makeover with Emax veneers on her upper and lower front teeth.

Veneers are very thin ceramic shells which are custom fabricated to cover and correct the defects on the natural teeth and bonded on the teeth. The procedure involved very minimal shaping of the front teeth to accommodate the veneers. Measurements were recorded with our Trios 3Shape intraoral scanner. And in 4 days our patient had a radiant smile she was proud of.

And we were so happy to have yet another patient who wouldn’t stop smiling!
